Stormy weather

Am back to update you all on the last ten days.

Not a great deal has happened really, work is still there and my next golf game is due to be this evening weather permitting. Generally feeling confident so am very much looking forward to that.

Good luck to our friend J is going in for an operation tomorrow, we will all be wishing you well.

C my next door neighbour has bought herself an MGF, very nice too, though had to knock on her door yesterday (interrupting her shower) to let her know it was raining as she had her roof down. That's what neighbours are for (the roof part not the shower part!!)

Payday tomorrow, phew made it through another month.

Had to fend off the Landlady of the Pub I walked away from on Saturday, she seemed to suggest that the atmosphere had changed and that it was a shame that I didn't go over there any more. Either way I wasn't hugely bothered, am very happy drinking in the White Horse amongst others.

No real plans for the weekend, am ever hopeful to get up to the JCG to watch Alton play cricket, have only seen them play once at the Southern Premier League Gold standard this season and then it wasn't for long, am as always depending on the weather. Alton hope to put an end to Portsmouth's half dent season in the time games, the game starts at 11am and is at the far end of the Jubilee playing fields.

The return of the Mooseblaster

Sorry for the huge gap between posts. Sometimes simple things like this fall by the wayside when time is precious.

Anyway so I'm back. Let me attempt to fill you in on the last month.

Things don't appear to be getting any better in my Mum and Dad's road, apparently someone tried to set fire to another vehicle there over the weekend, and the family seemingly at the centre (ie causing) all of the problems took to breaking into one of the empty flats recently.

We can only hope that someone in the Police or Council are brave enough to do something about it before someone gets seriously injured.

On a lighter note my golf has been at an enjoyable level recently, especially the week that I shot a 5 over 38 on the Shey Copse course at Hoebridge http://www.hoebridge.co.uk/, equalling Steve and Phil's for the lowest score for our golfing group from work. That round contained three fluffed chips so I know that I can be better round there. Am already looking forward to the next round.

Lucy and I had three very relaxing days in her Mum's static caravan on Hayling Island last week, hey beggers can't be choosers, it was really pleasant, and thankfully everyone we met were fantastic. Lucy really enjoyed her round on the pitch and putt and is keen to learn how to play golf, which is exciting. Chilling on the beach and an excellent evening at the Maypole, leading to us staying to take part in the Thursday quiz. We didn't come last which was a result considering there was only two of us, and we had a very enjoyable evening indeed.

The Weekend saw the Ireson family meet at the West Meon restaurant to celebrate Mum's 60th birthday, and again we had a lovely time.
